According to a public opinion poll, conducted by Parsifal agency for Nova24TV, the vast majority of the public believes that the Government is successful in fighting the novel coronavirus epidemic, and the vast majority also believes that the measures implemented in order to curb the spread of the virus, are appropriate. The survey was conducted between May 6th and May 8th and included 776 respondents.
In spite of Friday’s anti-government protests, to which the LMŠ, Levica, and SD parties managed to bring 5,500 cyclists and others, according to the Police, the general public does not share the protester’s dissatisfaction. According to a public opinion poll, conducted by the Parsifal agency for Nova24TV between May 6th and May 8th, the vast majority of the public believes that the Government is successful in fighting the novel coronavirus epidemic, and the vast majority of the public also believe that the measures implemented to curb the spread of the virus are appropriate.
According to the general public, Janez Janša’s Government is successful in its fight against the epidemic of the novel coronavirus
The vast majority, 84.4 percent of respondents, believe that the Slovenian Government is successful in its fight against the coronavirus epidemic, as shown by the combined results of the number of people who assessed the Government’s response as being very successful and those who assessed it as successful. 13.3 percent of the respondents believe that the Government is not successful in its fight. This number is a combination of people who assessed the Government’s fight as unsuccessful or very unsuccessful.

The respondents were also asked to share their opinion on the restrictive measures the Government had implemented so far, to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus. The vast majority, 72.1 percent, believe that the measures implemented by the Government, in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus, are appropriate. 23.4 percent of respondents believe that the measures are not appropriate.
