And according to the former Judge at the European Court of Human Rights, Boštjan M. Zupančič, Ph.D., quite a few hypotheses regarding the recent post-election events in the USA are currently making rounds.
The American mainstream media, even Fox TV, have done something outrageous. Joe Biden was announced the President-Elect, even before this was officially possible. European and Slovenian left-wing media, as well as politicians from all over the world, followed the mainstream American media like sheep, and in Slovenia, they even went to the extent of accusing the Slovenian Prime Minister of congratulating Donald Trump prematurely – even though they were, at the same time, prematurely congratulating Biden. But who is right? Are the U.S. elections already concluded?
This time, the U.S. elections really exposed all the weaknesses of the electoral system, and perhaps even the weaknesses of democracy in general, probably due to the so far undiscovered cheating and fraud of the Democrats and the stubborn, determined Donald Trump, who, unlike many of his colleagues from the Republican Party, is willing to fight until the end.
The average person who followed the American elections has a big problem: they are getting diametrically opposing information from the mainstream media and from the circles, close to Donald Trump. The former were incredibly quick to congratulate Joe Biden for his victory, even though they accused Trump of declaring his victory too soon, and the latter are claiming that the elections are not concluded yet and that they will not be concluded for a while – at least until December 14th. Who is right? We asked two esteemed experts for their opinion, namely, the Slovenian constitutional law champion, who spent 15 years in the USA and has closely been following the latest American elections, Boštjan M. Zupančič, and Vladimir Kolmanič, the former Deputy Ambassador to the USA.
The differences in six states are minimal; counting has not been concluded everywhere yet
They both categorically told us that the elections are not officially concluded yet, because, like in 2000, when the U.S. Supreme Court had to rule on the president, there is a high probability that the final arbiter in the matter of the new (or perhaps the old) president of the “free world” will once again be the Supreme Court. The differences in the six key states are still minimal, and the counting has not been concluded everywhere yet, and Trump, with his team of eminent lawyers and senators, led by the former Mayor of New York, Rudolf Giuliani (known for cleaning the streets of New York of the mafia), including Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and others, claims that he has a whole bunch of concrete evidence which proves that there were serious irregularities caused by the Democrats.
The media is putting pressure on judges and trying to create a false reality
Boštjan M. Zupančič told us that there are currently quite a few hypotheses making rounds, on what is actually happening and what could be true, but that he himself is convinced that Donald Trump is an extremely intelligent individual – although left to fend for himself because he was betrayed by the Republican Party in this fight (he not only has the deep state to fight against but also the colleagues from his own party). Zupančič believes that Trump would simply not let the deep state “trick him” in this way. But if he did let the deep state trick him, so says Zupančič, then he deserves to be defeated.
