Teroristična organizacija Hezbolah je prevzela odgovornost za raketni napad, v katerem so bili ranjeni številni civilisti v Madžal Šamsu, kot poroča Times of Israel.
V izjavi je teroristična skupina navedla, da je izstrelila več deset raket na vojaško oporišče v Golanskem višavju. Večino žrtev v Madžal Šamsu so predstavljali otroci, saj je raketa zadela nogometno igrišče v mestu. Po podatkih zdravnikov je najmanj 11 žrtev v kritičnem stanju.
